21 dead in Trishuli River bus plunge

Chitwan, Aug 26: At least 21 passengers died on the spot and other 12 were injured when a Pokhara-bound night bus from Gaur of Rautahat fell into the Trishuli River along the Narayangarh-Mugling road section at 4.45 this morning.
According to Chitwan District Police Office Chief SP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, some six of the injured were already rescued and efforts are on to rescue other six in the incident site. The bus (Ga 1 Kha 3709) had plunged into the Trishuli River nearby Mugling.
