PROTEST BY YOUTHS FORCE UDMF LEADERS TO CANCEL ITAHARI VISIT

ITAHARI, Nov 27:  Top-notch leaders of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) canceled their visit here after local youths took to street against the function.
Chairman of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Upendra Yadav, Chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Mahanta Thakur among other leaders were scheduled to arrive for the mass assembly.

Tension ran high throughout the day after youths set the stage on fire resulting postponement of address by top leaders.
Yadav had reached Biratnagar from Kathmandu for the purpose. Although the program slated for 11 pm started at 2 pm after constructing a new stage, no top leaders from UDMF were present.
