Lawmaker donates Rs 43,000 to FNJ Chapter

Bhadrapur, Feb 27: Member of Parliament (MP) Sarita Prasai has extended Rs 43,000 to Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Chapter in Jhapa.

Lawmaker Prasai’s representative Tika Prasad Prasai on Sunday handed over the donated amount to FNJ Jhapa Chapter President, Bhim Nemwang, at Birtamode.

FNJ Jhapa Secretary, Yekraj Giri, said the amount was donated by lawmaker Prasai for journalism sector’s development. Prasai is Jhapa’s MP from the proportional representation quota. She donated the amount under the Constituency Development Fund.
