Petroleum law demanded

Kathmandu, Dec 27: Nepal LP Gas Industry Association has demanded a Petroleum Law to manage petroleum production and transaction of LP gas.
The Association said that the unnecessary hike in price of daily essential petroleum products without variation in price in international market has marred the users.
At a press conference organized here on Tuesday, Association Chairperson Gyaneswor Aryal urged the government to prevent black marketing by some handful entrepreneurs in absence of petroleum laws.
There is no shortage of cooking gas in the country now, he said, sharing that some industries are still creating artificial shortage.
