PM and minister’s property details made public
Kathmandu, Dec 14: The government has made public the property details of the Prime Minister and Ministers.
The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Wednesday released the property details of the members of the cabinet formed on August 4, 2016.
Accordingly, the paternal property of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is three tola gold and a kattha of land in Chitwan. Likewise, deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimlendra Nidhi owns 60 tola gold, 150 tola silver and more than Rs. 1.9 million in cash, as well as shares of various banks and land plots in Bhaktapur and Dhanusa districts.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara owns eight ropani of land in Rolpa and Rs. 80,000 deposited in Everest Bank.
The property details of 27 ministers and 14 ministers of state have been made public, the Office said.
