Dr Agrawal appointed as new IOM dean

Kathmandu, Dec 3: Tribhuvan University Executive Council today appointed Prof Dr Jagadish Agrawal as the dean of Institute of Medicine (IOM).
The Council appointed Dr Agrawal to the post to be effective from today after dean KP Singh resigned from the post on Friday.
Dr Govinda KC has been staging hunger strike for the past 21 days putting forth various demands including ending anomaly in medical education sector. With the appointment of a new IOM dean, one of the demands of Dr KC has been met.
